After testing products from Beam Organics Inc., we found 3 products that we allege to violate Proposition 65 regarding alleged heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Beam.
NOTICE I
On June 13, 2025, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Beam Organics.
In this action, ERC alleges that these specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Beam contain Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA), a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a developmental toxin and known to cause cancer. They expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
Beam Greens Superfood Blend for a Healthy Body and Mind Strawberry Kiwi Flavor - Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA)
Beam Kids All-In-One Greens Superpowder Chocolate Flavor - Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA)
NOTICE II
On June 24, 2025, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Beam Organics.
In this action, ERC alleges that this specific product, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Beam contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a developmental toxin and known to cause cancer. They expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
