After testing products from CTRL Holdings LLC, we identified 1 product that we allege is in violation of Proposition 65 for heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and CTRL Holdings LLC.
Notice of Violation I
On May 6, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65 against CTRL Holdings LLC.
In this action, ERC alleges that 1 specific product manufactured, distributed, or sold by CTRL Holdings LLC contains lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels that require a Proposition 65 warning.
