After testing products from Bearded Brothers, LLC Austin Food Company, LLC, we discovered 4 products that we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Bearded Bros.
Notice of Violation I
On May 6, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65 against Bearded Brothers, LLC Austin Food Company, LLC.
In this action, ERC alleges that 4 specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Bearded Brothers, LLC Austin Food Company, LLC contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels that require a Proposition 65 warning.
