After testing products from New Roots Herbal Inc., New Roots Herbal USA Inc., we discovered 4 products that we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and New Roots Herbal Inc., New Roots Herbal USA Inc.

Notice of Violation I

On April 22, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65 against Augustine, Inc., individually and dba Pink Stork.

In this action, ERC alleges that 2 specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Augustine, Inc., individually and dba PinkStork contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels that require a Proposition 65 warning.
