Uni Key Health Systems
After testing some products from Uni Key Health Systems, we found eight products in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to lead amounts. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Uni Key Health Systems.
Notice of Violation I
On May 13, 2019 and June 11, 2019, Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Uni Key Health Systems.
In this action, ERC alleges that eight specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Uni Key Health Systems contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to lead at a level requiring a Proposition 65 warning.

Complaint
ERC filed a Civil Complaint on August 22, 2019.
Settlement
A settlement was reached on September 29, 2019. In full satisfaction of all potential civil penalties, additional settlement payments, attorney's fees, and costs, Uni Key Health Systems shall make a total payment of $62,500.00.
