After testing products from Trim Healthy Mama, LLC; Bar-All, Inc; Custom Manufacturing Solutions, LLC, we discovered 1 product we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Trim Healthy.
Notice of Violation I
On February 20, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Trim Healthy Mama, LLC; Bar-All, Inc; Custom Manufacturing Solutions, LLC.
In this action, ERC alleges that 1 specific product manufactured, distributed, or sold by Trim Healthy, contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogenic and a reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
Trim Healthy Naturals Whole Husk Psyllium Flakes (227 G) - Lead
Notice of Violation II
On March 12, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Trim Healthy Mama, LLC; Bar-All, Inc; Custom Manufacturing Solutions, LLC.
In this action, ERC alleges that 1 specific product manufactured, distributed, or sold by Trim Healthy, contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogenic and a reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
Trim Healthy Naturals Dynamic Duo Greens Powder 50/50 Blend of Organic Moringa & Organic Spirulina- Lead
Settlement
A settlement was reached on May 22, 2026 in full satisfaction of all potential civil penalties, additional settlement payments, attorney's fees, and costs, Trim Healthy Mama, LLC. shall pay $45,000 in satisfaction of civil penalties, costs, and legal fees.
Injunctive Relief:
Beginning on the Effective Date, Trim Healthy Mama LLC shall not manufacture for sale in the State of California, distribute into the State of California, or directly sell in the State of California any Covered Product that exposes a person to a Daily Lead Exposure Level of more than 0.5 micrograms of lead per day unless the product meets the warning requirements set forth in Section 3.2.
