After testing products from Ripple Foods, PBC, we discovered 1 product that we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Ripple Foods.
Notice of Violation I
On May 20, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65 against Ripple Foods, PBC.
In this action, ERC alleges that 1 specific product manufactured, distributed, or sold by Ripple Foods, PBC contain Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA), a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels that require a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
Ripple Kids Plant-Based Milk Unsweetened Original-Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA)

On July 15, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65 against Ripple Foods, PBC.
