Simpson Labs

After testing products from Simpson Labs LLC we discovered 14 products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Simpson Labs LLC.

Notice of Violation I

On May 22, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Simpson Labs LLC.

In this action, ERC alleges that 14 specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Simpson Labs LLC, contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogenic and a reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.

4. VMi Sports Greens + Reds Peach Iced Tea Naturally Flavored - Lead

5. VMi Natural Protolyte Electrolytes + Enzymes Plant Protein Vanilla Cake Batter Natural Flavors – Lead, Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA)

7. VMi Sports Major Mass Lean Mass Gainer Apple Pie a la Mode Natural Flavors - Lead
