After testing products from IQ Inc. we discovered 10 products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and IQ Inc.

Notice of Violation I

On August 6, 2026 the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65 against IQ Inc.

In this action, ERC alleges that 10 specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by IQ Bar Inc., contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogenic and a reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.

The products under investigation are:

4. IQ Mix Raspberry Lemonade Hydration + Clarity + Mood

5. IQ Mix Passion Fruit Hydration + Clarity + Mood

7. IQ Mix Iced Tea + Lemonade Hydration + Clarity + Mood

8. IQ Joe Original Black Energy + Clarity + Mood Medium Roast

9. IQ Joe Vanilla Spice Energy + Clarity + Mood Medium Roast
