After testing products from PaleoValley, LLC we discovered 3 products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and PaleoValley, LLC.
Notice of Violation I
On May 22, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against PaleoValley, LLC.
In this action, ERC alleges that 3 specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by PaleoValley, LLC, contain lead, Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS), and (or) Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA) a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogenic and a reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
1. Paleovalley Apple Cider Vinegar Complex - Lead
2. Paleovalley Grass Fed Organ Complex - Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS), Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA)
3. Paleovalley Grass Fed Beef Liver - Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS), Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA)
