After testing products from Outlier Health, Inc., individually and dba Complement we discovered 1 product that we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Outlier Health, Inc., individually and dba Complement.
Notice of Violation I
On May 22, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65 against Ripple Foods, PBC.
In this action, ERC alleges that 1 specific product manufactured, distributed, or sold by Ripple Foods, PBC contain Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA), a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels that require a Proposition 65 warning.
