BetterAlt
After testing products from Azuretale Inc., individually and dba BetterAlt, we found 2 products we allege to violate Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and BetterAlt.
NOTICE I
On March 26, 2025, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Azuretale Inc., individually and dba BetterAlt
In this action, ERC alleges that 1 specific product manufactured, distributed, or sold by BetterAlt, contains Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA), chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogenic and reproductive toxins, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
BetterAlt Muscle Pro Loaded Plant Protein Ashwagandha Safed Musli Iced Coffee Flavor - Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA)
NOTICE II
On May 6, 2025, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Azuretale Inc., individually and dba BetterAlt
In this action, ERC alleges that 1 specific product manufactured, distributed, or sold by BetterAlt, contains Lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogenic and a reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
BetterAlt Ova Care+ Cordyceps Magnesium Ashoka- Lead
