After testing products from TWC 2022 Inc. (dba The Wellness Company) we discovered one product we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and TWC 2022 Inc.

Notice of Violation I

On June 26, 2026, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65 against TWC 2022 Inc.

In this action, ERC alleges that 4 specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by TWC 2022 Inc., contain lead, Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS), and (or) Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA) chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogenic and a reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.

The products under investigation are:

  • The Wellness Farms Origin Series Bison Trifecta - Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS), Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA)

  • The Wellness Farms Origin Series Bison Liver Regenerative Freeze Dried Liver - Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS), Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA)

  • The Wellness Company Shield Hot Cocoa - Lead

  • The Wellness Company Origin Series Natural Bee Pollen Pure Bee Pollen Granules – Lead
