On July 17, 2025, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Black Girl Vitamins.
In this action, ERC alleges that these 2 specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Maxwell Nutrition LLC, individually and dba Black Girl Vitamins BG Health LLC, contain lead. A chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a developmental toxin and known to cause cancer. They expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
