PFAS UPDATE: EPA Water Guidelines

This new year is shaping up to be a big one in the world of PFAS regulation. The EPA has stated that they are working towards finalizing national drinking water standards for a group of PFAS chemicals as early as January. The agency is also accessing a handful of PFAS chemicals for their official hazard classification by March. Some chemicals, such as PFOA and PFOS, are expected to receive the strictest level of regulation as they are suspect or known carcinogens.
