Soulful Nutrition, Inc.
After testing products from Soulful Nutrition, Inc., we found three products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to lead and mercury contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Soulful Nutrition, Inc.
NOTICE
On October 6, 2022 Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Soulful Nutrition, Inc.
In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Soulful Nutrition, Inc., contain lead and mercury, two chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogens and reproductive toxins, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
Remedy Organics Super Chai Fuel, 12g Protein
Remedy Organics Cacao Essentials, 16g Protein
Remedy Organics Vanilla Essentials, 12g Protein
NOTICE II
On October 18, 2022 Environmental Research Center filed a second Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Soulful Nutrition, Inc.
In this action, ERC alleges that four specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Soulful Nutrition, Inc., contain lead and mercury, two chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogens and reproductive toxins, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.

Remedy Organics Blue Oxidants 8g Protein
Remedy Organics Berry Immunity 10g Protein
Remedy Organics Chocolate Keto 16g Protein
NOTICE III
On October 28, 2022 Environmental Research Center filed a third Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Soulful Nutrition, Inc.
In this action, ERC alleges that four specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Soulful Nutrition, Inc., contain lead and mercury, two chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogens and reproductive toxins, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
Remedy Organics Cold Brew Keto 16g Protein
Remedy Organics Vanilla Keto 16g Protein
Remedy Organics Energize Me Immunity+Energy
Remedy Organics Protect Me Immunity+Defense
SETTLEMENT
A settlement was reached on December 7, 2023. In full satisfaction of all potential civil penalties, additional settlement payments, attorney's fees, and costs, Soulful Nutrition, Inc. shall make a total payment of $200,000.00 to ERC.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Beginning on the Effective Date, The Feed shall be permanently enjoined from manufacturing for sale in the State of California, "Distributing into the State of California," or directly selling in the State of California, any Covered Product that exposes a person to a "Daily Lead Exposure Level" of more than 0.5 micrograms of lead per day and/or "Daily Cadmium Exposure Level" of more than 4.1 micrograms of cadmium per day and/or "Daily Mercury Exposure Level" of more than 0.3 micrograms of mercury per day unless it meets the warning requirements under Section 3.2.
