TruVision Health
After testing some products from TruVision Health, we found three products we alleged to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to lead amounts. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and TruVision Health.
NOTICE
On February 20, 2020, Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against TruVision Health, LLC.
In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by TruVision Health contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, and exposes consumers to lead at a level requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
These products are:
TruVision Health TruKETO Supports Ketosis & Metabolism Wild Berry
TruVision Health Vegan Meal Replacement rePLACE Protein & Probiotic Powder Brownie Mix
TruVision Health Vegan Meal Replacement rePLACE Protein & Probiotic Powder Vanilla Bean
COMPLAINT
ERC filed an Amended Complaint on May 19, 2020.
SETTLEMENT
A settlement was reached on June 1, 2020. In full satisfaction of all potential civil penalties, additional settlement payments, attorney's fees, and costs, Legion Athletics shall make a total payment of $47,500.00 to ERC.
