C2O Coconut Water, LLC
After testing products from C2O Coconut Water, LLC, we found 3 products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and C2O Coconut Water, LLC.
NOTICE I
On February 8, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against C2O Coconut Water, LLC.
In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by C2O Coconut Water, LLC, contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and a reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
C2O Coconut Water with Pineapple - Lead
C2O Coconut Water with Pulp - Lead
C2O Coconut Water the Original Flavor - Lead
NOTICE II
On February 15, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against C2O Coconut Water, LLC.
In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by C2O Coconut Water, LLC, contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and a reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.

C2O Coconut Water with Mango - Lead
C2O Coconut Water with Ginger, Lime, & Turmeric - Lead
