ERC and LIVBAR: NOTICED for Alleged LEAD in THREE Products

Notice of Violations

After testing some products from Liv Foods, Inc., individually and dba LivBar, we found THREE products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to lead and/or cadmium amounts.  Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Liv Foods, Inc., individually and dba LivBar.

NOTICE 

On December 31, 2020, Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Liv Foods, Inc., individually and dba LivBar.

In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Liv Foods, Inc., individually and dba LivBar, contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, and exposes consumers to lead at a level requiring a Proposition 65 warning. Lead is alleged in the products listed below.  

The products are:

1. LivBar Ginger Lemon Turmeric Organic Superfood Bar
2. LivBar Raspberry Kale Maca Organic Superfood Bar
3. LivBar Blueberry Vanilla Kale Organic Superfood Bar
